Rimworld vanilla expanded bloat, But do I though? There‘s furniture mods, clothing mods, weapon mods, Ideology mods, gene mods…. I used to use most of vanilla expanded for a few months (such a subscribed set of mods, and it has vanilla in the name, it must be good, right?) until I couldn't bear it anymore, went through each mod and asked myself "is this something that vanilla needed?" and then disabled all of bloat expanded. Everything promises to enrich the game by far but in the end all those things are either not worth the trouble or simply bloat the experience. The name is misleading, since it implies that enabling anything labeled Vanilla Expanded is just going to be just like the base game, but more and better.
